A research method is not science per se, but it regulates the way of doing science. Therefore, it can be just as important as research. In the first half of the course, the students will learn to conduct research in the field Geography (which is pretty much about everything). At the end of this term, students should have a basic idea of composing a scientific report. In the second half of the course, students will be asked to write a professional proposal and criticize other student’s proposal (and it’s blind review). Therefore, students will have a basic understanding of the standard procedure of grant application.
